CCP Representation The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) was represented by: Mr. Hafiz Muhammad Naeem, Senior Legal Advisor Key Themes and Discussions Covered international legal and institutional frameworks for competition policy, including UN, OECD, ICN principles, and relevant WTO agreements such as GATS, TRIPS, and GPA. Examined the role of competition policy in economic development and its interaction with trade policy, including implications for developing economies and free trade agreements. Strengthened understanding of detection and prevention of bid rigging and collusive tendering through analytical tools, case studies, and practical exercises. • Promoted knowledge sharing on international cooperation mechanisms and competition enforcement practices among participating countries and competition authorities. International Participation The workshop included participants from a wide range of countries, including Bangladesh, China, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Jordan, Mauritius, Morocco, Moldova, Mozambique, Myanmar, Philippines, Russian Federation, South Africa, Thailand, Viet Nam, Zambia, and others, representing competition authorities, ministries, and regulatory bodies.
